In June of 1992 our oldest daughter went to the World Show with her grandparents Frank and Sue Bowdoin. She won a heifer in the calf scramble and we started a Longhorn Herd. Early on we used primarily A.I. sires. We now have several bulls that are rotating. We have to bloodlines that we are working with. The Phenomenon herd is currently being bred to Tempter, Bueno Chex and Amazon. The Hunt-McGill herd is being bred to our bulls Olympic Torch, Hunt Emperor's Pride, Hunts Triple Cajun, and JR's The Hunted. We are also A.I.ing them to Sledgehammer and Totem Pole.
Like so many others we have become obsessed by our Longhorns and look forward to every new calf. If you are ever in our area we would be happy to show our herd or just talk Longhorns.
